Pilates Training

"We should recognise the mental function of the mind and the physical function of the body so that complete coordination between then can be achieved"
Joseph H. Pilates

The Pilates Method is an excellent addition to existing physical activities and professions:

. Actors
. Athletes
. Body Building
. Boxing
. Cardiovascular Training
. Cycling
. Dancing
. Golf
. Gymnastics
. Gym Work
. Horse Riding
. Martial Arts
. Musicians
. Running
. Skating
. Skiing
. Singers
. Swimming
. Tennis
. Walking
. Yoga
Carefully supervised Pilates bears no resemblance to an aerobics class though it becomes aerobic at the advanced levels.

Regular users of the Pilates Method unanimously agree on the beneficial aspects: enhanced performance, improved breathing and stamina, fitness endurance, and a much better general knowledge and awareness of their bodies.

It is non-impact and can be non-weight bearing. Challenging enough for athletes yet gentle enough for rehabilitation and anyone wishing to improve their total fitness, posture and appearance.

Pilates works well with rehabilitation, it can be used to release tension, and to rebuild muscle strength after injury or strain.

Common Injuries / Discomfort Areas Include:

. R.S.I.
. Lower Back Problems
. Neck & Shoulder Tension
. General Aches & Pains
. Prevention & Treatment of Osteoporosis

The Pilates Method caters for all.
